The way you set up the PowerPoint is awesome. Great job. I do, however, have some changes on 4 of my slides.One needed changing so it would be more clear. The others just didn't paste onto the wiki page correctly so it was difficult to understand just how I wanted them. I'll attach a document and put it on the PP page with the changes. Wow, it all looks really great! My slides are a little weird but I think it is due to the copy paste function that I used. How about this for technology my parents have verizon wireless broadband access and I am in the car driving home from visiting my grandparents, if you have cell service you have internet access. I didn't actually put my information into a Powerpoint, because Diane said she would make the Powerpoint. What I did was organize the information on a document so you could easily see what should go on each slide for the "Cataloging" and "Other Notable Features" sections. Is that OK? Or do you want it done differently? I'm a bit confused.

Good morning! I just finished the slides for the reports section. I created 3 slides instead of 4 but I can modify slides one and two to be 3 slides if this is necessary it looked quite sparse to me. I saved it in 1997-2003 format so those with the older operating system will be able to access it, this is important because there are formatting issues between the two (especially if we chose to use a templated background). My slides are created with a white background which everyone should do in the beginning so Diane will have an easy time putting it all together. I haven't had much luck finding a good contact at Follett. My school, however, switched over to Destiny a few months ago. I do have the book from the on-site training, and I could help you out with information from that if anybody needs some help. I can also see what I can find on the site directly, if you need me to, but I have to do that at school. Our district doesn't have it set up to access it from home. I live 20 miles from town, so I only go in about every other day at the most, though.
I also discovered that an interview does not get placed on the reference page, either.

I just added an email from Aarica Phillips (Flathead Highschool LMS) onto the resources page they purchased Destiny 2 years ago and have no regrets.
Our memo is getting really long!!! I think we have covered most of the areas and selling points of this automation system. Do we need to pick a "top ten" or should we go with it all? Sometimes a few strong points are more powerful than a lot of information that overwhelms. The article from Multimedia Schools that rated the system is a very strong reference that supports the purchase of Destiny. Would love info from a vendor on their selling points! Has anyone had any luck getting them to give information?

I called Follett and they were less than helpful. I saw the email from Sally indicating that Follett will help but I am not sure the "magic" word that will open the door to information. It appears that our first assignment is to have our references posted. I emailed Sally to ask her if we need to send them to her. If we could get them in the resource section by 6:00 tomorrow night I could send them to her if needed.
I see that the memo is due next Monday. I'm going to be away from a computer after Thursday afternoon, so I won't be able to contribute after Thursday until I get back on Sunday. I found it on the university library database. I found the eSchool article is on the Follett website. It explains that Destiny was rated the best library automation system.
