CATALOGING

You can add a title to your catalog using Allicance Plus resources, Z-sources, or creat your own using the Easy MARC editor. You can either Save Title or Add Copies.
The MARC Editor shows youa MARC record template and allows you to fill it in. The Easy Editor provides you with blanks that you fill in. You can toggle back and forth between the views as necessary.
The Add Copies page allows you to assign barcodes, call numbers, as well as print labels.
Before you add a title, Destiny requires you to do a search for the title in your database. An existing record is indicated by a red school house. If the title is already there, you know you have new copies to add.
You can add a title, copy, and digital resources such as music, sound effects, and lesson plans to each title record.
Titles can be imported from vendor to get title records.
The Weeding Log outlines the book info, who removed the copy, and a total count of items that were deleted and weeded.
You can create a temporary title when you need a quick record for checkout. You may also use this for student-published items or other temporary checkouts. They can either be deleted upon check in or captured into your permanent catalog.
